CPR for your computer

Since you depend on your computer, you cannot afford to have it crash.  PCWorks' CPR is for either prevention of crashes or to recover crashed computers.  If your computer has failed, we can recover the data most of the time and restore the computer to an operational level.  If your computer is running and you want to prevent such a disaster, we can provide that assurance with RTS Premier.
 

bulletCrash Recovery for residents of Jacksonville, FL:  We will recover a failed computer under the following conditions:
bulletYou have the original recovery CDs or DVDs.
bulletIf there is a hard drive failure, a new hard drive would be additional cost.  Any other hardware failure would not be accepted.
bulletRecovery of data files will be attempted and, though successful most of the time, there is no guarantee.
bulletPrograms will be lost unless you have the installation disks with product codes.
bulletThe computer should not be more than 5 years old.  (Call for older computers.)
 
bulletComputer Maintenance  and Crash Recovery for Businesses:
bulletComes with our RTS Standard Service to keep from getting a slow computer.  Software and hardware costs are additional.
bulletInstallation of maintenance software, cleaning up of spyware, viruses, etc, as much as 20 maintenance services as needed. 
bulletQuarterly "visits" done remotely when you are not using your computer to perform preventative maintenance and other services.
bulletCrash Recovery: In the event of a crash, login (if possible) within 24 to 48 hours to recover.  No additional charge for the service.  Comes only with our Premier Service.
bulletUnlimited Email customer support.
 
bulletComputer Maintenance and Crash Recovery for Personal Computers:
bulletSame Initial Service, Installation, Crash Recovery, email support, as above.  Software costs are additional.
bulletSemi annual remote "visits" for $59.

Tech Tip:

Tired of trying to figure out what your web site favorites refer to?  Some simply say "home page".  Homepage of what ?!??!!!  Here is a simple way to remedy this:

When you add the web site to your favorites, change the name of the link in the small Name box just above the list of favorites.

Of the ones you have, right click the name, and select Properties.  In there you can alter the name to what you want.

Also, in the Properties box, there is a Change Icon button where you can change it to something other than a blue "e".

Look for the C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll   file for a bunch of icons.
